We are pleased to offer both the EOC Management and Operations (G775) and ICS/EOC Interface Workshop (G191) courses. This 3-day series of classes provides students with an understanding of the relationships between field and Emergency Operations Center operations. The courses include a mix of lecture, group breakouts, and exercises to reaffirm the training material. Upon completion, the participants will receive a certificate from CalOES that can be used towards their individual credentialing program. .
Our most popular class. These courses are a one-day in-depth review of the positions within each of the SEMS Sections. They include Management, Operations, Planning & Intelligence, and Logistics / Finance. Both EOC and DOC operations are covered.
This one-hour basic introduction to Emergency Management course has been well received by elected officials throughout the State. It was developed for presentation at study sessions either before or after scheduled Board / Council meetings. It can also be taught during scheduled Board or Council meetings.
Using our FEMA certified instructors, we can provide you with a multi-disciplinary approach to this advanced Incident Command System training. It was developed for both public safety and non-first responders who manage in the EOC. However, this course does not meet the training hours required by the State Fire Marshal's Office for those in the fire service.
This 1 1/2 day course teaches the basic elements of SEMS, which is used in Emergency Operations Centers throughout the State. Included are a series of one-hour training blocks that cover each of the SEMS Sections. The training is followed up the next day with a tabletop exercise to reinforce the prior day's classes.
We provide various types of EOC exercises including Tabletops, Semi-Functional, Functional, and Full-Scale, which includes field activities.
